The Ceremony for the Enshrinement of the Sacred Relics of the Omniscient Buddha and the Unveiling of the Stupa.
We are delighted to announce that our long-cherished vision of establishing a fully-fledged Sri Lankan traditional Buddhist temple, complete with an authentic Sri Lankan-style stupa, at the Adelaide Sri Lanka Buddhist Vihara, is now nearing fulfilment.
With the blessings of the Maha Sangha, an Overnight Pirith Chanting Ceremony, followed by the Grand Ceremony for the Enshrinement of the Sacred Relics of the Omniscient Buddha and the Unveiling of the Stupa, will be held on Saturday, 24th and Sunday, 25th January 2026 at the Adelaide Sri Lanka Buddhist Vihara premises.
