The government has announced important changes to South Australia’s Roadmap for Easing COVID-19 Restrictions.
It is with great pleasure we announce that the Adelaide Sri Lanka Buddhist Vihara is now (19th of June) open for worship and gathering up to a maximum of 300 people (75 people per room), following the appropriate safeguards and honoring the social distancing measures.
As we approach winter, Australia is in a much better position than we may have been, with restrictions starting to ease across the country. However, we don’t want to go backward, and it is important that we remain vigilant. Please remember:
- If you are unwell stay at home.
- Please do not come to the temple if you are unwell and think you might have COVID-19, have tested positive for COVID-19, or have been in contact with someone who may have been exposed to COVID-19.
- If you have a fever, cough, and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention but call in advance.
- Follow health and safety protocols when on-site, including physical distancing and good hygiene practices.
