The third Katina Ceremony at Crafers Temple was held on 28th of October 2018 under the auspicious of Mr. Nayan Perera. 15 Monks and hundreds of devotees participated in this year’s ceremony. The Katina procession was conducted by the children and the teachers of the Sinhala Buddhist School (SBS). Daana and Pirikara were offered to the Maha Sanga and lunch was provided to all participants.

The highlight of this year’s ceremony was the sewing and dying of the special robe offered to the Sangha called the “Kathina Civara” in Adelaide for the first time.
